    You're right cray, they are making more and more products that when they go bad, there is no repair. Kitchen appliances, televisions, hot water heaters and a host of others. When they go bad you replace them. Cell phones. When you walk out the door, the phone is obsolete.

    Most of that stuff can be repaired, problem is the cost to repair often exceeds the cost of a new one. our washing machine broke last year, repair guy wanted $600 in parts and labor to repair the drum, new washing machine was $500.

    13 years on a battery is pretty good, i got 8 out of the one in my last truck before it started to go.

    I useta always back in the driveway. I could always coast down the driveway, pop the clutch and git er farrred up.

    About 5 or 6 years is all i get out of mine. Yours had been around a minute. Cold weather didn't help.
