    Just wondering if any of you have tried this material in lou of chinelles

    I'm not much of a tier but I tried it and didn't like it. Seemed to pull down to small when wrapping and didn't hold up very well for me.

    You can but it's not cost effective you have to use too much to get the same size body and different brands don't hold color as well. Chenille is cheap and if there's a color you use more than others some companies will sell by the skein.

    Is this the stuff you are talking about when you say a skein as I have never seen it like this before but would like to have this much

    That is pretty much what a skein looks like. Just have to look at places what they get for a skein. However it's never going to be Acrylic, it will be either Rayon or Nylon and there are a lot more colors in the Rayon!

    So this acrylic is not the same stuff we buy in small packs ..... You are saying to buy rayon

    Do you have a source where you get yours as I need skeins of basic colors like white and black I use a lot of. ..... Been trying to make a few that imitates the Southern Pro rubber I use frequently as this tying bug has got me bad
