    Default Darbonne 1/30/15

Back at it again today on the Ole Bone. Not as productive as the other day. Three hrs of fishing and landed only 3 in the boat. Water still stained and not many people fishing. Hold tight it's gonna get better.

Looks like it was a great day anyway and you weren't just wishing you were fishing!

Thanks for the report, the wind kept me away today.
If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.

Yeah I thought the wind was gonna be bad until I got there. Got to the lake around 2:30 and it wasn't bad. Fished over by Corney today.

Yeah, It was not bad because I stayed home. If I would have came, it would have blown us both off the lake. MY LUCK!! Glad to see Darbonne is recovering some, hope we do not very much rain Sunday. I would love to go Monday or Tuesday, and do not want to make the drive to Caney.

I have a buddy that lives in south Arkansas that fishes darbone some, we may come down this spring. I know factors vary, but when is generally the best time.

I would say best guess is if coming in the spring when water temps start getting above 50 on a consistent basis. Generally that's when they start going to a pre spawn behavior.

My son and i fished Darbonne Friday as well, caught 10 and kept 7.We put in at Jakes around 6:45 am and and to my surprise we were the only ones there.Fished from Jakes to just before Corney bridge. The wind was bad at times but was still fishable,it just couldnt decide which way it wanted to blow.Saw very few other people fishing but it wont be long before the channel is full of boats.Had a great time fishing with my son.GOOD LUCK to everyone.
