OK Danny, I know I have some stuff that I will never use. I'll gather it up and let you know what I have.

This year we are trying to start a new tradition at the gathering. We are going to have a raffle and donate the proceeds to a local charity. We came up with the Sabine Parish Senior Center as this year's recipient. This will not impact the freebie's passed out every year. I'm looking for people to donate anything boating or fishing or just anything. Does not have to be new, just good condition. I am donating a 12' BnM rod and a super duper minnow bucket. Randy has some items also and I heard something about some homemade jellies as well.We will take just about anything!! Please add your items to this post and I will make a log. Feel free to post a picture of the items. Then contact me before the Friday night dinner, so we can display the items and begin selling tickets. The tickets will be 2 for a dollar or 5 for 2 dollars and will be sold until the raffle at Saturday night's dinner. We will pull tickets then and let the winners pick whatever prize , until we run out. Hope to have fun with this. I just wanted to add, thanks to Ferdi for donating some items last year. This is where I got the idea. Danny
Bruce please sticky this.

I picked up a roll of the tickets at Walmart. They are the kind where you tear one off and hold the other. Roll is 2000, think that's enough? hahaha
I started looking around and pulling things out that I haven't looked at in years. Believe me, I have lots of stuff. We'll start with this:
Driftmaster rod holders off the old boat. SpyderLocks now, so don't need these:
Cabela's adjustable rod covers:
Garmin eTrex Legend, about six years old (forgot I had it):
Comes with everything. Topo map card, lake card, case, etc.:
More to follow. If you fellas have antique fishing stuff, metal signs, etc. - I'm into that. Big fun for a good cause.

That garmin is a heck of a prize. Thanks Randy.

How 'bout this: My wife has taken the rattan furniture out of this room and made me store it in my man cave. I ask you...does this look like furniture appropriate for the man cave of testosterone-fueled adrenaline junkie who cheats death on a daily basis? OF COURSE NOT! But if I put it out on the curb she'll beat me up. So if you think it'll sell I'll ask her if she will let me bring it. It clashes with the boat and my tools...the feng shui in there now is just all messed up...Heck, I'll donate if y'all will just haul it away.

That's funny Tony. I think it looks good . Appreciate the offer, but since this is our first try lets stick to smaller or fishing items. Besides, no point bringing that up with your wife, just in case...
