I was cleaning up my mess from this weekend and ran across a box full of jig heads I though that needed to be dried out so they wouldn't rust. Is it just me or does everyone have this many in their box????
Plus I had at least 1/2 that many in the tackle box I lost!!!![]()

Tim how does the boat look like it did
I would suggest throwing them away and starting all over......if you know what I mean.......

Every day you do not fish will be one day less you have to fish
Curtis I think you are rite those have been contaminated in that dirty water plus all of the oil and stuff from the boat. If those are lite wire hooks don't they come with a warranty. Lol
I pour and paint my own, so I have more jigheads laying around than I will use in a lifetime.

I agree with Hooker. Count em up and total the value and toss. The salinity level in Crescent will destroy them anyway most likely. And hopefully your insurance co figures on a cap off restoration to include every nut, bolt, wire and terminal as well as the obvious. I sure hated seeing that boat like it was.
That's funny right there.....Cause I got exactly $50.00 worth of jigs from Hooker before I went to Talquin last year. Now I have $50.00 worth minus 2 jigs, which is what I lost down there. At one point I had 6 rods hung with the I-pilot planting her feet and stripping line. Somehow got every one back. After that, I can't say I threw them away, but my other jigs pretty much become obsolete.
Hooker- The true test will come real soon when I turn my 12 year old loose with them.......He's been decorating boat docks and trees and squirrel nests for years. I'm hoping these jigs gonna save me a little money this spring.LOL
