lake conway 2015 challenge

so far this year I have not seen a 30 ct limit or even heard of one.if anyone has or heard of one how about telling bout it.you don't have to say where on lake Conway,overall bite has real spotty as fair to fairly slow to sloooow.highest count on fish here is 21 caught by the one and only Russ.oh CP this should be a personal challenge to get 30 or say I caught the first limit on the lake!! I do know you have been busy bud.not fishin? and to clarify you've only been here 2-3 times this year. Ive got some pics and little more info im posting later. big news 3.2 lber! the bit has at least picked up since last Thursday compared to the prior 3 wks

worst year ive ever seen , been fishing the pool for more than 15 years, i still say that the lack of shoreline grasses has had some sort of negative effect on the fishing and possibly just way to much pressure day in and day out, back when fishing was at its best you could fish through the week in the afternoons and never see another boat, not that way anymore

Dan , it is off all over lately. Lets hope spring time brings on some big fish. Worst I've seen on Dardanelle , Atkins , and Nimrod to name a few.

I picked the wrong year to quit duck hunting early to start fishing!

I may have to call RCC and see if he will take me duck hunting!

I has been slow. I struggled to catch 20 at times and now 30 is like trying to catch a star.

my goal is always 10 if i can catch that many it makes for good meal, anything past that is just a plus, those limits will start to come a little easier as we get closer to the spring however winter fishin is usually some of the best fishin all year but not this winter!

It encourages me to know that my struggles are not singular ... I'm actually sitting on a deer stand this weekend for freezer inventory... Also have a couple of Christmas trees to sink

I would think the unpredictable changes in water temp year has got the oxygen levels doing odd things. I don't know but I do know it's not been nothing like previous winters. Hopefully things will get better.

Heck, Dano it is a stretch for me to catch 10 much less 30, but I will accept the challenge. I dont know whats been going on, but during Christmas I watched some guys catching them like crazy they could have easily put 30 in the boat, but since then it has really slowed. Maybe the fish heard there was a rule change.
