I have to agree about impressive. I've seen several videos and followed a couple of threads both on CDC and Walleye Central about the MG vs MK anchor features. I was all set to buy a MK Ulterra this spring for the auto deploy and retract feature but the info I've been reading tells me to save a few hundred bucks and get the Xi5. I'll just have to bite the bullet and fight the arthritis to get up and down for deployment.

Just checked the BassPro catalog. The MG Xi5 with Pinpoint GPS Navigation System for an 80# 24v model is almost $1600!

I agree that BassPro is typically higher but, that much? I buy from David at Shut-up-and-fish so I'll check with him. Regardless, it won't be cheap to switch!

It can definitely add up fast. TM with pinpoint $1,250 and up. The gateway cable to connect to a compatible Lowrance system, (gen 2 touch) $240.
