After checking city codes I have very little space to have a coop. It can't be any closer than 250 feet from any living space, yours or a neighbor. I've got some coop kits, I'll build at my son's place.

They are free range. I got auto door I turn on let's them out at noon every day shuts after dark. Opens earlier on weekends 9am when I'm home.
