    Default Cypress bust 1/19/15

Made a quick trip out to Cypress this morning. Fished from 8 - 10:30 and caught 3 dinks then the wind started howling enough that we left. Tried jigs/shiners...caught 2 on a yellow curly tail jig and 1 on grey ghost. I could see them near the bottom, but couldn't get the bites....maybe next time.

Now I get to go watch my daughter at archery practice. Maybe there was a reason the fish didn't bite for me.

The boys and I went to Cypress this afternoon 2 till 5 we kept 8, caught several dinks which we threw back, all fish caught on shiners. The wind was high when we got there so I put the anchor out on the flat and let the wind blow us back over the deep water neat the spillway.great day anyhow fishing with the boys.
