    Default Red River Pool 5

Figured I would give a post from the river. Fished last Saturday and had 16 keepers. Fished yesterday for a few hours and kept 5. Water was stained and a little high so be careful of logs and debris floating down river. Water temp both times was still in the low to mid 40's. All the fish I caught were really nice with over half either at 2 pounds or over. All fish were caught on shiners.

Nice!! Been itchin to give Caspiana or Ninock a try haven't been there since summer before last ... Going to drive around to the Bishops Point Landing...Longer drive to the launch..but beats a 12 mile run from Red River South.

I've been launching at Bishops to save on the boat ride also. Trying to figure out how to post pics from my phone so it might be a minute.
