Wow, this is only the second time I ever "placed"! Ron Presley and his big bay boat brought out the luck. Thanks for a great fishing trip Ron.

I am surprised there is not more bay boats being used in tournaments on big water. Glad yall had a good day after the winds laid down.
Hey, didn't we have more that weighed in than that? I know Chuck Autin and Anchor man were there? Flycaster too? Shuorc got ran off by the wind. Billbob and my Father-in-law didn't weigh in cause their 4 puny fish didn't weigh more than one of TNT's. lol! Anchor man shoulda had a good showing, right?

I returned all I caught to grow up for another day.
If they did not bring them to the scales, they could not be weighed.
Well, that certainly makes sense! I guess the question is more why were they not brought to scales? Did they maybe want to give me a chance to "place" knowing I'd need all the help I could get!
Shu ran off to lake placid. He texted me this. He stopped at a lake on the way home that had a little less chop (and even less fish):

I only had one fish at weigh in time...didn't bother to come in. I hope to do better next time.
Have always been a 'fair weather fisherman', only like whitecaps if driving by a lake. On our way back to Leesburg asked Alex if he would like to try Lake Doer. we went to the 20' deep spot and never printed a fish on the way, trolling back to the ramp caught one and Alex 'long distance' released one at the side of the boat. both about 10", lake is pretty and may try it again. Third time should be a charm for Lake Crescent, first fog then wind am hopeful next time is fish. Congrats to those that caught fish it makes for a better day.--shu
