    Default My first tie


    Well everything came in today and here is my first tie. I know I have a long way to go but I think it will catch a fish

    That will catch a fish. Would suggest starting and finishing your tie back from the bend for the eye just a tiny bit.

    Well picking colors that work helps a lot and sure they will get better, but we all started at so e point. I know the first few I did were not something I was happy with. Getting help back then was a lot harder, but still I s not think any of my early ones ever got tied on and fished, LOL! It was not long though before I liked them well enough and the advancing learning was the most fun part! Just enjoy this great hobby!

    Skip, that color combo has caught a lot of fish for us, one of our favorites.. I know I got a long way to go to make really good ties and will get plenty of help here. I live really close to justcameslabdaddy, so I can maybe get some help there if need be.

    I dont know if it was those exact colors but it was close to them My first tie
