Great snapshots, Brett.....I see you are using your Lowrance. Did you sell the Garmin?

No, still got the Garmin, guess I need to put it on ebay, If anyone wants it, I'll sell it for 400 less that I paid. Its more detailed than the Lowrance, I just use a touch and I'm sticking with it.

    Well....Since you don't have the 360........and neither do I.

If I suspect the boat is spooking them, I would very slowly approach the waypoint moving into the wind......pass over the waypoint, throw a marker off to one side, immediately kill the trolling motor and drift back off, then position the boat well away from the waypoint on the opposite side from the marker and cast a slip float with minnow upwind of the waypoint and let it drift across.

If you spook them on the initial run across the waypoint, they should return in a few minutes after you move back off.

If they are pretty aggressive, you could try casting a jig from a distance also and counting down just above the depth you saw them on the scan......or even use a jig on the slip float with some gulp or similar. I have had good success casting and using a jig under a slip bobber.

WITH FISH THAT DEEP U ARE NOT SCARING THEM BY RUNNING OVER THEM,I DO IT ALL THE TIME AND DROP MARKER THEN PUT DOWN TM CAST AND COUNT DOWN AND CAST THEN SIT RIGHT OVER THEM AND JIG,THIS TIME OF YEAR DO NOT MOVE JIG MUCH,GET ONE TO BITE THEN MANY WILL SOMETIMES BITE.ONE OF THE BEST WAYS THIS TIME OF YEAR IS DROP JIG TO BOTTOM AND SLOOOOWLY REEL UP,MAYBE 10 SECOND OR MORE PER ONE COMPLETE REEL TURN
