Deer season done! Time to pull the boat out and get ready for Talquin. Any word on lake levels?

Nice buck! I got 2 this year but no big bucks. Worst deer sightings I've had in years but at the same time i didn't have time to work my food plots like in the past. Also, Im not a big fan of this baiting law we now have. You can't hold the deer like you use too. They've now figured out they can roam and their will always be food out for them. O well, fishing time!!!!!!!

Level is OK. The cold has slowed the bite. With the warmer weather things will improve. It is slow now.

fished today in a small family tourney for fun...I was surprised at the lake level....thought it would be higher.
didn't know there was a crappie usa tournament until today.
fished along side some guys from Indiana who were in cusa tourney and they were doin pretty good....we were not...gave us a case of the red-arse...haha....nice guys tho. didn't see very many people catchin fish other then those guys....anxious to see the weigh in results.
