stacy, haven't heard from you in a while! Be sure and check out the Crappie Camp schedule. The Summer Camp is the first weekend in June at Lake Tenkiller. Do you still have the pet possum?

I missed last weekend, because of the threat of freezing rain I am definitely going!! Glad to see you posting again.

Hope to get a little fishing in this weekend since I've got a 4-day weekend and the weather is supposed to be nice. But if it's not windy, I've got a lot of brush that I need to get burned and a couple of fallen trees I need to get cut up and burn the stumps. I still haven't replaced the cedars hanging under the dock so I'm going to try to finally get that done as well to get ready for Spring fishing.

Saturday work, Sunday football playoffs, Monday = holiday and no winds. Going to try Monday. Then again might just build some crappie condos Monday. No better time than the present time.

Well, with the weather looking nice this weekend and my Dallas Cowboys out of the playoffs....I will definitely be fishing this weekend. I'm trying to talk myself into getting my boat ready and taking it Lake Carl Blackwell Saturday morning but that all depends on the wind.... or lack of!

The problem with that is my boat isn't what one or what myself would consider a tourney boat. It works just fine for my wife and I to fish from and to pull the kiddos around on a tube but certainly nothing to brag about! It's an old 1990 Quantum Bass / ski boat that I bought last year and basically rebuilt. It will work until I get me a true bass boat but it's definitely a step up from my old jon boat with 2hp engine.
