Anyone Crappie Fishing in Lake Providence.
Is anyone trying the crappie (white perch) on Lake Bruin or lake st joe
Wish I could help you, I'm too far south to know anything about them lakes...sometimes the only way to find out is to launch your boat and go on a recon mission...
To be honest with you I can't remember if I have ever seen anyone post anything about Lake Bruin or Lake St. Joe. I know people fish them for crappie, but don't know if the people who fish them are CDC members.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
I used to fish Bruin often. The deep piers on north end were always best. Not a lot of winter crappie fishing there.
On the Arkansas Forum, you also find no Posts on Chicot, Also in the same area you are looking for Info. That Place is Loaded with Crappie and no Limit on Catfish
I like to fish lake st joe , haven't been since last spring. I can't give any reports , but if I find out anything I'll post.
I imagine they haven't done any good with all this muddy water .
The fish were bitting yesterday, The fish will bite tomorrow,,, today I must buy my fish
I haven't heard anything on Bruin, I grew up fishing that lake. I intended to get out there a couple weeks ago, but my Grandfathers boat is out of commission right now, and I didn't bring mine. I want to get back up there in the coming months.
I've done a lot of bass fishing out there at night over the years. We have caught some big slabs off the lights on crank baits while bass fishing. We caught probably thirty off one light one night several years ago. I say every year I'm going to go over there and try the WP but never do. I've heard of guys wearing them out early in the year off brush tops.
