I'll be fishin Kerr several times tween now an then so if ya decide to try there send me a PM an I'll tell ya where we've been doin the best. I've been fishin the lake for over 40 yrs an guiding there the last 8 yrs and one thing I've learned is the "where" ya try is very important on a lake this big! Check out the Kerr Lake "Catch of the Day" for some pics of our recent catches.

I've caught 7 over 3 lbs there in the last 35 yrs. I tell folks it don't take me but 5 yrs to catch a 3 lber! LOL! I've landed 4 in a day over 2 lb a few times, caught many strings of 10 that weighed 15 lbs! I usually crappie fish there a couple times a wk all yr. usually catch tween 4-5,000 crappie each yr, for the last many yrs. I have over 400 brushpiles marked there an tell clients they're welcome to bring a handheld GPS to mark any we fish. Never had a bad yr on Buggs!
