Thread: Where's Shane Ghent?

Fellas I really appreciate the questions lol..
I'll tell yall it's been a rough year I tried to change my whole world to accommodate someone else. 3 months ago my wife of 10 years said she wanted a divorce. Shes battled depression among other things. We had decided to wait till after the holidays. Now that that is all over its a new year and a new life. I'm good and doing well. I thank God everyday for the continued work and mercy on this ole dog. I've missed my buds on here and it's time to get back to me... I've seen some of yall squabbles on Facebook
But chose to stay out of that drama dealing with enough of my own. But we all have to remember these waters these fish are not put here to be JUST one persons but for all of us to enjoy. As many of yall know I'll take any one fishing and show them right where I fish, that's just me i love this way of life...

Hey Shane. Glad to see you back. Sorry to hear of your troubles, after 20 years of marriage we went through some of that, but we survived it. Didn't make it not tough though, worst time of my life. Still affected by it today and that was over 12 years ago. I'll be praying for you and your family. Enough of that. I'm glad to see someone else who fishes the same waters that I do, and with Crappie Magnets, I grew up in Searcy and since some of the best fishing anywhere is within an hour or so of there I still fish there a lot. It's always encouraging to see you catching fish on my old home turf, or water in this case. If you get an empty seat, holler at me and maybe I can fill it.

Gotta get another boat 1st buy soon!!

i learned a long time ago that you cant change just to make someone else happy they have to accept you the way you are or its not gonna work out anyway , everybody just gonna be unhappy, glad to see ya doing ok buddy, now get back to fishin!!!!!
