Default My last three trips, 3 crappie, woo hoo!

I spent some time at Lake Prince back on Dec. 20th and got shut out, spent 3 hours with my girlfriend on the Northwest River Dec. 27 and got shut out again with my girlfriend landing her first two crappie ever, and then on New Years Day I spent 5 hours at Burnt Mills and only manged 3 crappie, all caught deep. The crappie are doing a good job of hiding from me here recently.

NWR, coffee in hand, ready for her first crappie fishing trip. My Lund is still looking fairly new and turns 5 in March. I hadn't taken it out in two months as I have been fishing in my jon boat.

My girlfriend Tanya loves the color purple so I had bought her some Purple Mist BGBS and that is what she caught her crappie on.

Sorry about the slow fishing. Some days are like that. Keep me posted on any "ringed, inferior species" from the NWR, will ya. I wanna try it before the bash.

Thanks for the report, George. There's comfort knowing the fish haven't singled me out to be ignored. Only 2 of the 8 fish I've landed in the past 3 days were the preferred species.

I think the Lund will be getting more exercise now.

Thanks for the report. The stripers are biting better right now. Haven't tried for crappie yet.

    Happy New Year!
