    Default January the Tooth

That is always my answer when someone asks my Birthday. Big Bro, Hooked me up with some Nibblets, Jig tails from Tube Jigs to Bobby Garland Stingers and a couple of packs of 1/48 OZ Lead head Jigs. With all the Cold Fronts dumping all this Rain I have started Tying some of those tiny Jig Patterns like the Gray Thingamajig and others posted a short time ago. when the weather gets better the bite will have some new offerings for the Crappie.

Happy Birthday Larry, I hope your baking is a success. If that doesn't work, try Gewbers.

The secret to Baking Nibblets is to do it is before the Wife gets busy in the Kitchen ---- If you have a Gas oven with a pilot Light, Spread the nibblets on a Cookie Sheet and put them in the Oven a little over an Hour. When they are cool put them back in the Bottle. With moisture removed they will be slightly smaller... With other Ovens only warm it up to about 150 to 160 Degrees, You do not want it to Hot!!!!! Put them in for about 20 Minutes and remove them from the Oven. If the Oven is too Hot there will be a Fishy smell coming from the Oven Vent. Dont be Cheep like I did one time using the Sun to dry them. When I forgot them the Dew fell on them and when they Dried again they were all Hollow on the inside. Baked Nibblets will stay on the Hook twice as long

I spread mine on aluminum foil and coat them with Garlic Salt and put back in bottle along with the Garlic Salt left on the foil.
I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

Thanks Josh, I still have one more Bottle that I can do. I can put them back into the bottle unbaked where they will soak the Garlic Salt into them
