Thread: The "Free Bird" has found a home in FL

A good friend of mine contacted me about 2 months ago and asked me if I would hold the boat for him until he could make all the necessary arrangements to pick the boat up. I told him Of Course I will....and I was very pleased to see him end up with this boat. It was a tough decision to sell it, but I know he will get a lot of use out of it and he'll take good care of it!! He has just joined Crappie.com and his screen name is Speck Snatcher. I honestly believe that I have converted him over from bass fishing to crappie fishing. Two trips with me to Talquin and he was addicted!!!! Slab fished with Speck Snatcher and I one day and Speckanator and Shuorc also met him at the Talquin Slabfest. Here is a picture of him and his wife with the boat:



They are just getting into crappie fishing. He had about 5 minutes to kill so I tried to show him everything I knew about crappie fishing and trolling...Twice!!! He is a great guy and sportsman. I just wanted to welcome him to Crappie.com and introduce him and his wife to the rest of the FL Board, mainly so Talquin Maggie won't be getting any phone calls when people see his good looking wife in my old boat!!.....I hope to see yall at Crescent on Jan 17 at the Slabtogether.
