Thread: Logan Martin Long Lining

Tried to get an early jump on long lining jigs at Logan today. Got on the water at 8:00 and drug water until about 1:00 with only one crappie to show. Caught two each spot, stripe, and cats. Ditched the long line and hit brush piles with cork/minnow and vertical jigging. Manage to catch another eight keepers for dinner Saturday night. Water was lightly stained to stained and water temp ranged from 47 - 49 degrees. Still just a little early for the long line action. Great day to be on the water with #1 son.

Glad you were able to get out and fish with your son. That's more fish than I have caught on my last 2 trips.
