Henderson 12-26-14 Shiners were harmed....

Had a great time today fishing next to and visiting with Prefers Shiners. You edged me out by 1 Mr. Bruce....I got 16. The duck camp fish fry tomorrow night is good to go! It certainly was a nice day to be on the water. Most on shiners 6-14 ft deep. And some real nice ones in there too. My big one was exactly the same as PS 13.5" but I had 3 fish that touched the 13" mark...and I think I may have caught 2 of them simultaneously.... Then I dropped a bare hook down to grab a shiner for bait and snagged a throwback in his dorsal fin....that's how you know you're in the right spot! Most all of them turned out to be females full of eggs already and bellies full of shad and minnows. They already prepping for an early spawn with all this warm weather we been having...
