Thread: My sons first duck hunt 12/22/14

Great stuff and post made me think of hunting with my Dad as a young'in.

Thats some great stuff there, thats what memories are made from.

Will take the advice on the earplugs on future hunts. Thanks for that heads up! He loves the outdoors and me! He doesn't even acknowlege his mother when i am in the room, which i do not think is good by the way, but it sure does make me feel good that i mean that much to him! I felt the same way about my dad though, as he was using his every spare minute with me. Lost him when i was 16, im going to take every advantage i have with my son as well! Thanks to all on here for helping me in all the ways you guys do.

He has a sinus infection, but wasnt slowing him down a bit. He acted like it wasnt a thing. It didnt start til about halfway thu the hunt and was just a bloody booger, but my jacket sleeve couldnt get it all off. Lol

Great job introducing him to the outdoors. Better to teach them to Hunt opposed to Hunting for em later in life!!!!!

Isn't it amazing how well they become, and how they can tough it out to go hunting or fishing when they're sick? On a school day, they don't seem to heal as quickly.
