Default Best all around boat for long lining?

What's the best all around type of crappie boat for jigging, spider rig, but mostly long lining? I'm looking for a new boat to me under 12k maybe lil more but want to add terrova Tm. Its so overwhelming looking at boat brands and models. I like drill instructor stratos boat 19.6ft seems idea for big lakes and wind like we have on pickwick. I've seen some tracker boats 18ft but wanna make this my final boat for long time. Buddy has ranger Comanche almost 23ft but scared of engine expenses on a 225 even rude. Thinking 19-20ft but what kind of boat or model would have open floor plan good for long lining or good for spider rig on front to?<br/>

My buddy has a ranger with that style layout......... I think he said it's marketed as a walleye boat, I know it is one great layout and works great.....

I would not overlook a good used bay boat in that range as well. Something like the Mako 18lts or one of the Blue Wave boats to name a few.

I have a 2007 Tracker V18 Allfish that has an open floor plan. I have a Terrova 80 pound thrust with iPilot and hitek rod holders. It works good for long lining and spider rigging.
There's one like mine listed in the classifieds if you want to see what one looks like.
