    If it ain't broke don't fix it sometimes I have noticed when the fish are in a neutral mood and they won't take a bigger bait and a smaller natural looking bait produces better. I've had this happen using shiners too sometimes they just want a smaller bait

    You're right about the big shiners Bruce, but they're hard to find sometimes.

    When you look at the size compared to the hand, they are 1/32 or 1/64 --- about a half inch long. I have to put on split shot for deep fishing a couple of inches above the Bait, they help to dislodge Jigs that get hung up. That extremely light Jig would drop closer to a natural rate below the weights

    I gave them a try this morning... all I could get to bite was little ones ...I mean tiny
    That little grey thingamajig can catch a little white with the big attitude .I thought it was trash on my bait. LoL
