Anyone fish the Montgomery area of the Alabama river? I have only been 3 times. Never got into them.......yet. looking for some.direction.. thx

Smitty, I fish down below the swift creek area mostly. When there not running water, its hard to locate fish and stay on them. I stay on the docks till i find one with some fish. Spring time they get in the creeks. I caught some good fish up in the ( i think this the name) Jackson Lake area last spring. North of Montgomery. Very secluded and out of the wind. Cant help on Jordan. I been several time with no luck at all. Alot of water to learn.

Johndeere that is all I know. Swift creek and.a.few cuts just below it.

I have done well the last couple of years in the spring (April) The whites hit the creeks and I had several days
of 30-60 fish. I am a newbie at spider rigging, and this spoiled me. Love catching those whites. Also have done well casting jigs. We fish from Swift creek down.
