Anyone that's seen my truck knows where my handle came from. For those who haven't I own ScooperDude Pet Waste Removal Service. Yes we pick up dog poop for a living.
Not very interesting but it is what it is

I used to be called Opie by my fellow officers because I'm covered in freckles and had fire engine red hair, now it's gray. I threw in a bit of a Latin spin to it for king and came up with OpiemusRex. BTW SeaRay, when you go to Clouds Creek and pass Camp Barsow I am building on 4 acres at the first driveway on the left side. I will retire soon and be living there full time. I can't wait! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

I started a Christian Guide Service almost a dozen years ago, and I have always enjoyed taking children and their families out on the water. Fisher "of" Men has been used often in outdoor events by many entities, so the Fisher-"o", let me combine my love for the Lord with my love if fishing. Lots of folks now call me FOM, and I like that too!

Got mine from my childhood==teenage hero J. Foresat Boheler if you ask him what his name was he told you Tom hence came uncle Tom. the two of us was the animal terrorist around our community especially "he" animals = boar hogs, stud horses, boy dogs, tom cats, what ever -- if it wore "bells" we stopped them from ringing
we made "he" animals wish they were "she" animals or at least would be no good to "she" animals.
one day we caught a tomcat put him in an onion sack wrapped him up real good ,turned him upside down -- needless to say that caused no small stir, especially when that razor sharp xxx case cut a small slot in that onion sack and uncle Toms cold hand grabbed the bell to make him a "sow cat" and hollered hold em Remus and I said I got-em uncle Tom== hence came Remus. that thing hissed, growled, blowed, spit, and bit = my hands were bleeding didn't know wether to turn em loose or not till uncle tom said you can turn "her" loose now Remus. as all things has to come to an end Uncle Tom died but I didn't continue his legacy of making she-uns out of he-uns so in remembrance of uncle Tom when I joined crappie.com I added uncle to Remus.

BTW Uncle Tom called me Remus till the day he died and some of his kids in there high 80s and his grand kids still do. Loved that old man == hope you enjoyed this true story

This is a great thread. I've often wondered the reason behind many of the CDC screen names.

Several years ago my two young sons and I were fishing with the Appalachian Striper Club in their monthly Striper tourneys. My youngest son had picked out our team name, Team Fishous, since it sounded like "vicious", and he wanted a tough-sounding team name. At one of the weigh ins the tourney director bastardized our team name and called us out as Team " Fisholishous". It just stuck after that, much to my wife's dismay. Fisholishous, LLC is now the small business name I publish the Striper books under. When I applied for the business name with the SC Dept of Revenue, the Jamaican sounding lady helping me on the phone asked me: "Fisholishous, is that a fish market?" I said no ma'am, but that would have been a great name for one...they do taste good.

    Merry Christmas!

Before I got back into crappie fishing I was an avid spot fisherman at the coast when the spot were running and used it as a screen name on the computer and just kept it when I joined CDC. It seems to fit my style of crappie fishing as well as I am a dock shotter and runnin from dock to dock so spotrunnin still works for me. Merry Christmas to all and hopefully Santa will your live well with slabs in 2015!!!
