    Default Guntersville 22 Dec

Went to some Hwy 79 causeways yesterday to see how they looked and give them a try. One had no bait and not even a sniff in 90+ minutes of fishing. Packed up and hit another one. Bait was plentiful but the bite was slow. The 5 fish I did manage were all solid well fed fish 13-14" and they pulled good. With all this rain, not sure I'll be back on the water for a few days.

.the Mink Creek culvert can usually be counted on for a few even on a poor day. If in a boat, just hover in the downstream end of it and cast jigs into it.

Mink was completely dead Monday. Worst I have ever seen it. No current moving except for wind current and it just never set up.
