Made a afternoon trip. Water was up a foot or two but not to muddy on the upper end.
Caught a lot of small fish only kept 8. some on docks some on stumps. \
All caught on a black n chartreuse tube on a 1/16 minnow head tight-lined.

You don't take very good notes.
Fishing docks I'll start on the out side edge and flip the jig and feed line so it will drop vertical as mush as possible. I like a slow fall. I went to a 1/32 jig this fall and did well on the outside of docks and lay-downs.Must of my fishing is 10' or less. When I go deeper I still stay with a 1/16 jig.
But to answer your question, I do both. Ya just gotta get in the boat and see for yourself.
