    Default Fishing reports

Its that special time of the year where you can be a hero one day and zero the next. I have been fishing some local tournaments and doing fairly well: Lake Oconee is the best ive seen it since i started fishing there. Long lining in lick creek over the trees has produced some good catches in AM and switching to tightlinine during the day. Sugar creek pretty much the same thing. If you want that big slab you have to be patient and tightline minnows. Oconee will only get better this crappie season. Clarks Hill has produced some heavy weights the past two weeks. Fishing in SC little river area has been the best for me. Find the bait which is easy right now because of the seagulls, and start long lining. You will catch some striper for sure just something you have to deal with this time of the year. Water has a great stain further back in SC little river which will probably stay that way for a while. Brush fishing is still producing some catches but most have pulled off brush.
