    Default Kayak panfishin Fri afternoon.

Went to the local creek again Friday afternoon with a buddy and caught a few panfish. The biggest bluegill was almost 10 inches.

Looks like a fun day catching bream and redears. What bait were you using?

Good job bro!! Man I tried fresh shrimp and didn't even get a hit. And this was in a tidal creek where I actually caught a crappie with a small croaker in it's stomach, so you'd expect they'd eat a shrimp. Maybe it was just an off day, I'll have to try it again. Good going. If you load the pics onto a pc or tablet you can orient them with a picture editor (I'm assuming they're from your phone).

Thanks for the report! Is that a Bubba Blade knife? Is it as good as they claim?

Yeah its a bubba blade. It's a very nice knife. Extremely sharp. It would shave hair off my arm like a razor and after cleaning those fish it would still shave.

As far as using shrimp I use a piece about the size of the finger nail on my pinkie finger on a 1/16th oz jighead. I am catching more bream than crappie on this but they obviously do hit it because I always catch a few crappie.
