Lake Sinclair crappie fishing
going to be on lake Sinclair Thursday long line trolling and just looking to see if anyone has fished there over the last few days and if so, what creeks have been best? Also if so are the crappie still in the backs or are they moving back out into the mouth? Any help will be helpful

The crappie on Oconee have shut off and went deep in the timber and lethargic for the most part! The bite was great last week and sucks this week! Plus the water temps dropped over the last few days which I believ what caused the fish to shut off! They were on brush piles last Friday and I went back Sunday and they were gone!Originally Posted by CrappieSnack

We fished Sinclair today with average success. The bite was real slow until we saw someone fishing real deep in the middle of a cove. We got deeper and started catching some fish. Wound up with 20 pretty good fish along with 2 Catfish Monsters ........one around 15 pounds.

DID PRETTY GOOD ON LOUSIANA PINKS IN CHURCHES COVE YESTERDAY.
Found a ton of fish today fishing between rooty and crooked creek! Boated close to 100 fish most being smaller fish but a ton of fun long lining!

Went Monday and caught a few. As everyone else said the fish were deep 18-25 ft over brush piles which is what the down imaging showed. Temp near steam plant was 61 degrees.

They were shut down today. We fished twin bridges, Cedar Creek and the channel at the island. We caught 1 spec, 2 cats, and 1 bass. We fished deep and deeper with some line up in the column....just did not happen.
Big boy said Rooty Creek was where the action was.

Fished Island creek today and did fairly well. Ended up with 38, big fish was a pound. They were real deep. Also caught a few in the mouth of Roots Creek.
