Kept some from the Crescent trip cause the inlaws wanted crappie to eat. Speckanator and I kept 7 of ten caught, and Anchor Man let me net 4 of his to make it a good fish fry! Anchor Man is a stand up guy, he released all his big, big'uns. I personally seen him toss a 2lb plus fish back! I was thinking fish fry at the time! doh, but it's always good to encourage the stock! And he also borrowed me some minners. Dang minners musta been defective, did not quite work for me though, musts been defective, j/k! Thanks Crappie King and Crappie Queen, it was a pleasure fishing side by side with you all for a while.

I'm a little late posting up (been sick)...but thanks anchorman for a good trip.....we didn't catch many but we caught some quality ones. I think slab must of had a banana for breakfast...maybe someday he'll believe when I say it's bad luck....in the box or in the belly "no bananas"

Bananas is bad juju for sure! Last trip to Stuart I brought some granola bars to eat for breakfast. My buddy had been on a very hot dolphin bite for a week. We caught 0 zilch nada. Boat broke down and lost a rod. Granola bars had bananas in em!

I take bananas all the time with me on purpose. Figure if I can catch them with bananas on the boat, I must REALLY know what I'm doing. (I havent fished for crappie yet with nanners on the boat)

Offshore I once trolled a banana peel for the hell of it and landed a 22# mahi on it. That was an interesting sight to see.
