Gonna be in New Orleans from the middle of feb for 6 weeks and plan on dragging my boat that way for a little fishin..... I'm gonna be at the Nasa base and know I'm gonna have to drive but was wondering where the sacs are gonna be found around there during that time... I hope to get off work around 2-3 so hopefully I will have a few hours to get some fishing in

I spent a couple months in that area, specifically at the SW side of Lake Pontchartrain. There is a launch near the state park there and I've seen many, many boats in that area of the lake. Several appeared to be bass fishing but I am certain that if there are bass, then there should be sacs!
Sounds like the Pearl River area should be within your reach. The Sacs should be in full spawn mode by then.

I was stationed there back in 01-03 so I know my way around the Carrie alittle. And the pearl. I have even caught them at the prop stop docks.... But that was years ago
Hey FF,
Are you talking about the michoud assembly facility in NO east?
The Pearl River system above Hwy 90, all of the north shore rivers have sacs. I'm partial to the tchfuncate.
City park has fish. Don't know if there are any sacs there.
The Des Allmends area west of NO on Hwy 90 is another favorite of mine.

Jig rig yes we will be doing a dock side tear down in michoud. I plan on doing a little fishing in hopedale and the end of the world also. Depending on what time I get off is gonna predict where I fish
Fish Bayou Boeuf south of Lac Des Allemands. You can launch on Larousse rd off of Hwy 307 in Kraemer. You can thank me later
