The only times I've had the exterior of the lens fog is when I breathed on it, or if it got wet and then covered up with something (like a jacket).

A lot of times people don't realize they are breathing on that lens. If you are looking through the scope and you breathe out, that warm breath rises and many times will fog the lens. The solution in that particular case is that when you are looking through the scope, exhale like a smoker that's trying to blow smoke out the side of their mouth. It's that simple...no more fogging.

I've used FogX in the past but it wasn't as effective as I'd have liked.

Also, keep the lens clean. It's easier for a dirty piece of glass to fog than for a clean one. Scope pens make it really easy to keep them spotless. Or you can buy some stuff that photographers use to clean their lenses...either works...but the pen is way easier.

Nice deer by the way. I hope to see a pic of the one that got away after you go back and bust him.

Why didncha just ugly em down? Worked pretty good on the other 3. Heck, looks like the first 2 just threw down their horns and ran off. Must of been a close up that got the last one. He appears to have completely exploded on the inside. Ya might try just covering half your face when they up on ya like that.
