    Yep Hatchineha, its my closest launch site to the Kissimmee chain. Was planning on driving the boat down to the big lake if the bite wasn't good, which it wasn't in quantity, but we kept getting good quality so stuck it out.

    The airboats were out in full force, but they're usually flying over the pads on the perimeter. I only saw 3 other boats crappie fishing. I still want to head east on the chain to Cypress and give that a shot and need to spend some more time on the big lake.

    How well do you know the Hatch? Last time I was there was with my Cuz. An area called the gourd neck or something neck???? We done alright but not as good as you.

    looks like the ranger aluminum 178c? i just bought one myself and have to say i couldn't be happier with the space on that boat.. kissimee has been better at night for me than during the day. had some luck with pink /yellow tail jigs tipped with minners drifitin less than 1mph in 11ft of water west of brahma island... im going back the weekend after new years witha few buddies to try it again..
