Default Another use for Arkie Tubes!! Crappie Spins!!

Any brand tube will work with these. Pick your own poison. Just thought someone might be interested in buying some spinners for their favorite brand of tubes.

Southern Pro Tackle :: Creekspins 1/16oz.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.

Here's another option. Arkie has spinners also! Arkie spinners are versatile as you add the jighead of your choice and the tube of your choice.

The spinners come in gold or silver. I've added a 1/8th ounce Arkie Jig Head in green/chartreuse with an Arkie Pro Tube in green/chartreuse on the gold blade and on the silver blade I have and unpainted minnow style head in 1/8th ounce with an Arkie Pro Tube in blue/clear with sparkle. With the clip design I can swap heads quickly.
I left 2 of the spinners blank. One thing I do when trolling (spider rigging) is to put one of these on and just add the crappie hook of my choice which is usually a standard gold aberdeen hook and put a minnow on it.. This is a good bet when the water warms above 50 degrees and the fish are actively chasing baits. In the cooler water, add that set up or one with a jig to your jig pole and fish it in the brush the way you would a spoon. Lift the rod tip a foot or so and allow the bait to fall slowly which allows the blade to slowly turn.
That's a couple of more options you can put in your arsenal of tactics and hopefully it will put a few more crappie in your box.

Jackie, you better be careful with those spinners over on Greers. Between the white bass and the walleye, your gonna get your arm broke draggin those around!!

It's been a few years since I used spinners for crappie. I can remember catching a ton of fish on them I some reservoirs I have fished. Kinda went by the wayside once I learned spidering. Thanks for showing off your baits and methods.
