    Default Lake Houston Luce Bayou

If anyone lives in Houston and wants to catch a limit of crappie all you need to do right now is to head to Luce Bayou in the northeast end of the lake and troll for about 1/4 mile up and down the bayou and you will catch a limit of crappie holding at 8-10 feet suspended near drop offs and structure. Black/chartreuse and blue ice are the colors they are hitting. You can see the fish stacked up on the sonar just slow trolling. I caught my limit in just four hours. I think I caught a total of over 50 fish but only kept the fish 11" or better. The bigger ones were hitting the jigs when I was moving at least .5 mph. The weather should stay this way for a couple of weeks so get out there and spider rig your way to a limit!!

They were hitting every 2-5 minutes so I decided to shoot a video since I knew I would catch one and be able to show how easily they were biting.

All four rods are 10' TC. I have four more TC's for the left side but didn't put them out that day.
