    Had this I pilot for a year and didn't know what autopilot was. Just use spot loc. soooo slab says. Why don't you use the auto pilot feature. Me. What's that. Slabs like. Doh!!!! Learn something every day. Ha ha.

    Auto pilot is good....can also use the cruise control to keep your speed on in windy conditions....the motor will vary speed automatically to compensate for wind changes to keep your speed even. This is great when pulling cranks

    Push the cruise button, speed will start flashing, push your speed up/down buttons until it shows speed you want then either just wait or push the cruise button again.

    Set your course with I-pilot.....then push the button on your cruise contrpol button on your remote.....I have a older remote but its the button with a symbol that looks like a dial with a arrow.....on mine it is the button right below the Auto-pilot button

    I believe I got the old Ipilot Terova that ain't got cruise. I'll have to check. I think mine is magnetic based. Not gps based.
