Went back out again today with Swamppers. Had to do a little more searching today but still managed to find some nice slabs. Ended up with a few more 1.5+ pound fish. Like Swamppers said in another post from yesterday, they are on the wood and lay downs in deeper water and didn't seem to like the jig moving too fast. Heck I caught 1.25 pound fish with my pole laying on the deck and the line in the water! But a great day it was!!

SLABS! Thanks for sharing
Nice catch.
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...
I've always known that Henderson was big but I am quickly learning that it's not big - IT'S HUGE! And really shallow in some places right now!! (I do not care to elaborate).
I've also learned that it is nearly impossible to pattern right now. Is anyone else trying to figure out a pattern? If so, are you seeing anything?
Yeah its shallow!!! If you see green grass sticking out the water prolly means don't pass right there!!! You would think the captain of the vessel would know that!!!! But I'm not going to point fingers at no one!!!! Lol!!!! It's always a adventure!!!
great catch guys. Love ya'lls posts on Henderson. I might try it Saturday. I gotta bring my boat in for a front navigation light repair on Tuesday. Hopefully, it will be ready by Saturday. Might try Crooked Creek Tuesday morning before bringing it into the shop.
