As much as I enjoy catching fish myself, I truly love seeing others and helping others catch fish. I would have been just as happy to just sit up in the front of the boat and watch Jeff catch fish but the pesky specks had other plans and kept biting on my jigs. I had tied on 1/8oz jigs on the two rods so I could fish up front of the boat and not get tangled up with the lines out the back. I know some of you can fish 10 or more rods at one time but I am just not that good at long lining. We were running around 1.15 to 1.3 mph and on the front rods only had about 30' of line out. A lot of the bigger fish came on an ugly dark orange/black with chart tail and were caught midday before the clouds disappeared. I am still waiting for the water level to go down and my river fishing to start, single rod jigging and casting. Tight lines to all........

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
