Default Marking Bouy tip of the day

Almost all commercial Bouys I have seen come with the string tied to the weight or with a clip. When you wind in the line you get a big mess as the line twist occurs. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417885174.136108.jpg

A simple remedy is to put a swivel on the line and it will eliminate the twist and knots.

    Tip #2

Always check the factory knot before the first use. First time i used one i pulled the weight off the buoy and tossed it overboard, buoy flipped about twice and stopped, picked it back up and the weight was gone......

Tip #3--Just got done touching mine up today- paint your buoy's black. Makes them almost invisible to passers by. I've been doing it for 30 years. Sometimes I'll mark a brushpile, catch a couple then move on and leave the buoy to return and fish it again. I sometimes mark 6 or so then just milk run them.
