    Default Birdy and XXL

Mr XXL and myself went out this morning for a few hours and enjoyed some catching on Lake Shelbyville. We had a good 40 or so overs in just about 3 hours. Wasn't many casts with a cork that we didn't get a fish. Sure is fun right now and big fish!!! 8-12 ft of water fishing 6-9 ft deep under a cork.

birdie--stretches the truth. We fished a little less than two hours, and when he says we, he must have had a mouse in his pocket, cause my cork floated way better than his did. It was a butt kickin worthy of forgetting. Three brush piles and close to 100 fish isn't too bad. The 20 kept in the live well were all close to the 12 inch mark. I hope by Sunday I can sit down with out my butt hurting. Thanks T.

Wilbur--Maybe Santa will get me a new pair for Christmas. Old farts need gloves, but birdie did it bare handed. Most of the fish in the livewell looked just like these two.

    Nice fish fellas!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
