Default I made the pilgimage to Erwinville yesterday.

Visited with the king himself. He demonstrated his pole to me and my friend who rode with me. My friend doesn't fish much. But when I pulled out my wallet, he pulled his out too, and we each bought one.

If you've never been, you've got to go. He told me his health will not enable him to give seminars any more at LSU. I would have surely gone to his next one.

I bass fished Chicot from daylight til 4pm. 1 2lb bass. South end of lake has lots of mallards in the flooded timber. It was nice and relaxing sitting back there listening to them quack and wheez in the trees. Fished a little while for white perch but nothing pitching a few jigs around trees. How'd ya'll do ?
