Chickamauga "Slab" Crappie 11-30-2014
We blasted off around 8:30 am this morning. I had a late night watching football and needed my beauty rest. Ended the day around noon and headed back to fish camp.
We keep 2 limits today. Nice fat fish. Sent them home with Jerry to feed "Jerry's kids".
Mostly fished in the river along bluffs and blow downs. We used 1/16 oz jigs with Mo Glo BGBS Ghastly Minnow. The Crappie were about 10' to 12' feet deep.
We used the "Float like a butterfly...tick...Sting like a bee technique". Just cast a jig out and let it float down to the strike zone.
The water temp. was mostly 48*-49*.
