    Default Some HB Upgrades

First, a big thanks to Brian at BBG Marine.

Had an 898 at the console. I moved that to the stern since we longline 80% of the time and now I don't have to constantly turn around to check the screen.
Installed an 1199 at the console on a RAM mount. Will double duty when I'm longlining from the front, I can spin it around. Upgraded my Terrova to iPilot Link and got a Lakemaster card in the 1199, everything going to the Ethernet box. Overall, took me a few hours, minimal profanity, and a couple beers.

All systems got their latest software updates and heading for a water test this afternoon and a full day of fishing tomorrow. Also added the wiring to the bow in case I want to move my 898 up there on some occasions. In all likelihood I may just put another sonar/gps only unit there, connected to the US2.

My goodness that thing on the console looks like a 55 inch tv. I can only dream that big. Way out of my price range .

Thanks folks, it's really coming along. We went out for a while today and the iPilot Link is a game changer. My 898 networked to the 1199 and Terrova with no issues. Everything worked as I hoped it would. The follow the contour was awesome. Really looking forward to using it in the spring on some spawning bass. The Link seems to be more sensitive to navigation than my old iPilot...meaning it keeps a track better, and it was windy as well.

The 2D sonar kind of went back and forth between giant "Lego Pixels" and smoother transitions. Does it look great? Not at all, but does it still paint me a picture, absolutely. Side imaging pictures are default settings, didn't play with down imaging today. All software is latest updates.

Looking to do a similar setup during the off season. I have everything but the 1199. I'm debating on moving my 898 up front or just leaving my 858. I've been seeing where guys are using their SI units as dedicated DI units with good results. Then I could use the 2d out of the Terrova and along with a DI transducer to the 898. I don't really need SI up front but would like 2D and SI.
