Thread: Annual after turkey day fishing trip

Oh well the day after Thanksgiving today while my family was shopping I made my annual fishing trip with my friend Mickey . The alarm went off early this morning. I made the drive to meet up on the lake by 7 AM. the air was crisp and with fog coming off the water. We went to one of our favorite honey holes but the honey dried up and we had to back up to another place. We found the fish eager to chomp on our baits as we spidered along the structure. And we enjoyed each other's company and reminisce in many fishing trips we have taken together. We got to see some deer come to the water. And after spot number to slow down we went on a search and found a Nother honey hole. The fish were stacked like cordwood and we caught many doubles on one pole today. In the fight was white as the day progressed. We finish out the day with a great box of fish. I have many things to give thanks for and today is just another one.
