    Default Thanksgiving with dad fishing

Dad is bigskyfisherman on the site. Hit the lake at 7:30 am and fished a public dock. Had my brother-in-law along and his son. Kept 25 keepers had a great morning with family in Oklahoma. Best part is the youngest caught the biggest one. 12 1/4 inchName: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417129163.027632.jpg

Very nice family affair! Congrats to the youngest slab hunter! Are you fishing Ok or Mo? Either way glad you found them.

    Cc,
We were at Carl Blackwell (27 degrees), and Layne's fish was 12 1/4 inches, just about 1/100th of an inch bigger than his grandpa's crappie (at least that's MY story). He caught it on the first drop, at only five feet down. Most fish were 17-20 feet down. Pink, white, and black/pink worked best. Only one person got a limit, and a lot of people got 0-3 fish. Got home in time for some great food and fun with the entire family. Dominos games and story-telling going on now. Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving.

    Cc,
If we had been in Missouri, it would have been Rend, Mark Twain, or Horseshoe (where you can do a combo trip, crappie/pheasant).

Nice haul guys!!! Glad to see ya snagged them bigskyfisherman. I won't be out there Sunday because I'm going to Tenkiller tomorrow instead. Didn't want you looking for me if you did go again Sunday. Got your jigs in the mail and will be putting them to work.
