That wouldn't surprise me DD and if it were the case it would show how classless and truly ignorant folks have become. I will be proud of the Bears if they win but am not gonna cry if they get their tails whooped (which they prolly will), this will give State a true shot at a National Championship.

Default Egg Bowl drama involves FBI

I don't think it was a threat. With the price of tix, there will be lots of Dawgs hanging out drinking in the grove, unable to get in the game. With that many Dawgs peeing on the bushes and trees, damage is bound to happen. :-)

Maybe it is time for everybody to remember that this is just a game......
I have also noticed that many of the most "spirited" haters have no real association with their chosen school. (From reading the letter, I am convinced that the sender is NOT a graduate of Mississippi State) If these folks put as much energy into getting a degree from their "chosen" school as they do in running down "the other school", Mississippi would truly benefit.

    Just something to think about.........
Our state rivalry is the South Carolina-Clemson game. I have observed the same thing here. The loudest, crudest, "fans" never set foot on either campus as a student and probably could not pass the entrance exam at either school. I (South Carolina fan) will be playing golf tomorrow with 3 Clemson fans(all grads) and we have never had more than a friendly jab at each other and always in good spirit and fun. It is, after all, just a game.

    Dang SeaRay,
you really don't care who you seen hanging around with !!!!make sure one of them carry's your bag , and one should get you a club when needed , and just to make it fair let the other one clean your golf shoes when you get done !!! it be alright !!!

I know what you are talking about. my 3 best buds from high school (and still today) are MSU grads. I am an Ole Miss grad. Other than some good natured poking and prodding, no real issues. Some of my "friends" who did not graduate from either, on the other hand, become possessed by some kind of football demon at this point every year.

I am all about supporting your "chosen" school, but do it in a constructive way... Take a class, send your child to school there, join the alumni association, donate to a scholarship fund, heck...go down to the quad/drill field/grove early one morning before final exams and hand out hot cocoa to the students. That will mean a lot more in the long run than whoever wins a ballgame.

2:30 I think. Not sure. I decided to go to the movie with my wife this afternoon. The outcome of my "date" will have a greater impact on my life than the outcome of the game.
